Description
This characteristic 19th century farmhouse lies idyllic at the end of a small country road and is surrounded by 2 ha (5 acres) of own terrain of woods and meadow. The farmhouse has been restored very comfortably but retained its original character. The house is very near to Saint Amand de Coly, a typical village situated centrally in de Perigord Noir, 7 km. from Montignac, where you can find 2 large supermarkets to do your shopping, and 20 km. from Sarlat.

Facilities

The house is a 2 storey house. The ground floor has a large cozy, completely furnished kitchen with French windows which open to the terrace, where you can have your outside meals. The charming salon has an enormous fireplace and two couches. Also on the ground floor is a double bedroom with an adjourning bathroom. This has a "walk-in" shower, so it is well suited for minus valid people. From the kitchen-dining room one has access to the second floor by means of a magnificent oak staircase. On this floor you'll find 4 double bedrooms and a bathroom with bath, separate shower cabin, washbasin and a toilet. The "master" bedroom, has its own bathroom with a separate shower cabin, washbasin and toilet.

The entire house is centrally heated by means of a HR gas heater.

Exterior
Here you'll find the terraces with deck chairs and our 10x5 mtr. heated swimming pool.

At a distance of 35 meters there is a barn containing a "four au pain". This is fully intact.
The remaining space is used to store the lawnmower and other appropriate tools.

Surroundings
Excursions are literally unlimited. At a distance of 20 km. you'll find Sarlat, a medieval town, the capital of the Perigord Noir. It has 3 Michelin-stars because of the more than 1000 year old architecture. It is very lively in the small streets where the offer of shops, bars, cozy terraces, art galleries and good restaurants is overwhelming. Special the Saturday market is worth visiting. Here is a great offer of typical products from the surrounding towns like truffles and foie-gras. For the prehistory you can go to Montignac, to the grots of Lascaux with its impressive rock paintings. 10 kilometer further down the valley is Les Eyzies,  the cradle of the prehistory. A special recommendation is the grot
St.Christophe in Le Moustier. Around the rivers Vezère and Dordogne are lots of castles and gardens which can be visited. A boat trip from the picturesque town of La Roque Gageac on the river Dordogne leads you along 5 famous castles. Kayaking on the Vezère also belongs to the possibilities. For the walkers there are many signaled routes, of one is leading along our house.
